You're going to burn alot of days if you plan on taking the train to the other side of the US. Anywho, good stuff, i think its good for everyone to work in a studio atleast once in their career, its a different environment and even if you end up hating it, you atleast become aware of how other people approach the animation profession

Yep, well we have a few months and I'm keen to visit quite a few places along the way. And will give me time to animate on long train rides. I actually really like the studio environment, a nice change from working in solitude.
